Unexpected charm in a quiet retreat

The hotel's warm ambiance made us feel at home. Not only were the staff friendly, but the breakfast spread was outstanding, offering a feast that set us up for the day.

Unfortunately, the air conditioning struggles left us restless during the night. the remote location meant a long trek to the nearest attractions, which could be cumbersome.

i absolutely loved my stay, especially the fact that the hotel is so close to the beautiful botanical gardens, just a short walk away, and the cathedral of pisa is also nearby, making it perfect for my weekend strolls around the city.

the staff were super friendly and helpfull, nice lounge area to chill with a drink. breakfast had lots of options and was pretty good. rooms were reasonable for the price, and air conditioning was a lifesaver after the heat in tuscany!

the noise from the trains was annoying, and my room was a bit small and not enough space to put my stuff.

I also encountered a bit of noise from neighboring rooms, affecting my peace and quiet at times. Check-in went smoothly, but I found the front desk staff somewhat less welcoming compared to my experiences at other hotels. A more approachable atmosphere would have enhanced my stay. I'd recommend the hotel for its breakfast and room size, but be prepared for some dated features and varying staff engagement.

It was a good pick for a weekend trip in Pisa with value for money. The breakfast had lovely pastries that were a nice surprise to enjoy in the morning. Try to ask for a room away from the train tracks for a quieter night.
